I suppose, if I dug really deep into my self conscious that there would be a chance that for at least one time in my life, I have felt invisible. I can’t pin point a time but I’m fairly certain that I have. At least once, in my lifetime, but never THIS invisible.
I am a self admitted individual that lives in a bubble. I tend to focus and worry about me and my own. However, on this day I came across such disturbing news via the internet and I felt an obligation not only to myself, but to the world to get the word out. Sure we all at times feel uncertain that we can make a difference; so small in this huge universe. Maybe after you take an hour out of your busy life, you too will understand and possibly participate in trying to help put an end to this ludicrous, vigilant war.
Personally it doesn’t matter if you’re from a small town, country, city or state. It shouldn’t make any difference who you are or what you do. Some of us belong to a “race” that feels powerless and has no control over what is going on outside our “bubble.” Let me tell you right here, right now. You DO have the POWER to CONTROL…if you BELIEVE in yourself.
Imagine these children, so scared, hungry, tired and all alone. Children whom are labeled invisible, being forced to grow up in such a way that it absolutely unfathomable and obviously inhumane. Children, whose lives were stripped from them as they were abducted from their loved ones. Everyone they know and everything they knew, gone. Our children, reborn, not having asked, wished or wanted, into a life of sinister evil, with minimal chance of survival.
We have the voices, the inner strength and the masterful minds to gather knowledge. We have an extra couple of hard earned dollars that we spend frivolously. We have the technology to see that this “leader” is found and arrested. Think for one split second about the tears and constant chaos of the children’s state of horrendous affairs. Educate yourself while sharing this story on FaceBook and any other social media you can get your fingers on.
I’ve included photos for your convenience. Please feel free to print them out and post them wherever you deem fit. When you pass someone on the street go ahead and slip them a post-it with “KONY 2012” on it. As you’re driving down the street and singing a song on the radio, I dare you to just let go and hum a silent prayer. Do whatever it takes to STOP.THE.MADNESS. Save a child’s life and help them preserve what’s left of their dignity.
Mark your calendars! 4/20/2012! Together we can make history. Please do your part to protect humanity and mankind. You CAN make a DIFFERENCE. Think of Jacob, Gavin and all the other potential Invisible Children…and not just in Africa. Peace is with us and Goddess Bless us all.
