Carrie Ribeiro, creator of the 2012 Business Expo, wanted to reach out to other small business owners and really get together and network. Talking with the members of East Valley HomeBased Business group on facebook, she thought it would be a GREAT idea to get everyone together. "Some of the members do small get togethers at their home BUT how great would it be if all the businesses could get together under one roof?", said Carrie. It was that thought and the general support of the local businesses that The 2012 Business Expo was born.
Once the idea was born, Carrie reached out to the San Tan Valley Chamber of Commerce and SanTanValley.com, who agreed to partner and help promote the event.
"The San Tan Valley Chamber of Commerce is always looking for ways to support the business community and offer our members additional exposure. With the majority of our members being home based or mobile businesses, vendor events like this are a great way for members to get their businesses out into the community," said Tisha Castillo, President of the San Tan Valley Chamber of Commerce. "As a home based business ourselves, the San Tan Valley Chamber of Commerce understands the challenges our home based businesses face and we are pleased to be able to offer so many tools and resources to help them reach their goals."
"The response has been overwhelming and we've barely started promoting the event", said Carrie. "This is going to be awesome!"
Anyone interested in participating in the event must complete the Vendor Registration form - downloadable below - and return the application plus the dues no later than August 6th.
"Spaces are filling up fast", Carrie adds. "So if you want to be a part of this event, don't wait until August to reserve your spot!"
