No I was not running sprints around the block with my laptop in hand, and I didn’t really lose 60lbs. This latest read however leads me to believe that maybe that isn't such a crazy thought. Maybe I could lose some weight while working.
I'm sure most of you have seen people using inflated exercise balls as a chair to loose extra pounds and improve posture. But have you ever heard of a “Standing Desk”?
Gina Trapani from the website Smarterware wrote a great article called, Why and How I Switched to a Standing Desk which seems pretty convincing and makes me think about trying it out for myself. After all, higher calorie burn and better posture can't be bad.
Just one more thing to add to the “to-do” list. It’s a great read and shows that you might just be able to shed a few pounds while using your PC after all.
